Randomness of Reusing and Repurposing

Here are some random facts/ideas/advice or whatever you want to call it that I have found from different sources for reusing and repurposing items.

• Buy a large pack of overnight pads (extra long) and cut them in half for double the amount!

• Use the front of cards for a new card or as a postcard

• Add 1/2 cup of lemon juice to the wash cycle of your washing machine to brighten white clothes

• Put a fabric softener sheet inside your shoes (or other smelly things) to get rid of odors

• Turn a dry cleaning bag into a trash bag by tieing a knot by the hanger hole. Warning, don't use as a kitchen garbage...it is not that sturdy...from experience :(

• Use mouse pads for trivets, shelf liners or kneepads for gardening!

• Use empty squeeze bottles for compressed air in small areas such as the computer keyboard

• Use an old shower curtain liner for a drop cloth

• When shipping on Ebay, if you want to cover your label with plastic (like UPS or FedEx) just take a freezer zip lock bag, cut it and tape it to the box. It will protect your label and you can see though it!

Hope you liked these useful ideas. If you have any ideas, I would love to hear them! Don't forget to follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and now on Linkedin!

Happy reusing and repurposing!
